Flintpope have released FRED, a ‘pay what you like even free’ pair of doubled up formant oscillators tuned as a bass and a lead that play against each other to produce a surprising range of tones, albeit with a distinct audio signature.
FRED is an interesting asset in your toolbox that has a USP, namely XY control over the oscillator pitches and tunings as well as XY control over a comb-filter and a reverb. This gives FRED the ability to change tonal settings in real-time while performing or recording.
FRED can give you acidic leads and basses as well as a weird array of soundscape capabilities.
This ensemble requires the full version of Reaktor 6.
