VSTBuzz Are Offering 62% Off Sunbird By Acoustic Samples For A Limited Time

VSTBuzz are offering 62% off Sunbird by Acoustic Samples for a limited time, now available for only €49 (usually €129).

The Sunbird library is based on a 1962 Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar.

It was recorded with multiple mics for stereo and mono options and through the pickup for amp simulation. It’s stunning for every style of music including folk, pop, rock, acoustic, instrumental, underscore and much more!

The Hummingbird guitar was created in 1960 by Gibson and was the first square-shouldered dreadnought. It was designed to be extremely versatile so that it can cover many music genres and have a deep tone without being too powerful, which is perfect to accompany a voice.

This is a huge 8GB (uncompressed and 1.25GB in lossless compression format) acoustic guitar library built for the UVI Workstation (free). It was recorded with a pair of microphones and the built-in pickup, and has been sampled incredibly deeply with a wide range of articulations including:

All frets of all strings with upstrokes, downstrokes

  • Round Robins
  • Releases
  • Staccatos
  • Mutes
  • Palm Mutes
  • Hand Blocks
  • Slides
  • Hammer Ons & Pull Offs
  • Retriggers
  • Fretnoises
  • Percussion and other articulations

All of these details allow you to easily reproduce the sound of a guitarist playing a real acoustic guitar.

The Sunbird has 4 basic modes to choose from, which you can switch between by using the assigned keyswitches:

  • Solo Mode that allows you to play melodies
  • Chord Mode for playing strums or picking very easily
  • Patterns Mode that does all of the strumming or picking for you
  • MIDI Mode that allows you to use your preferred midi guitar controller

This library requires you to create a free iLok account, however you don’t need a physical USB key.
