Native Instruments have released LUNAR ECHOS, a melodic Techno expansion for Maschine, Massive and Monark users.
The cool, disaffected sound of Berlin meets the funk and soul of Detroit techno – hypnotic arpeggios, lush dub chords, rolling basslines, and more. LUNAR ECHOES comes ready to create complex minimal grooves and melodics. Kits built from classic synths and drum machines are custom processed with analog gear and ready to sequence. Experiment with subtle variations and evolving modulations to make anthemic techno tracks that move the crowd.
LUNAR ECHOES was created in collaboration with Alexander Kowalski and Alex Retsis.
Constructed around essential analog synths, LUNAR ECHOES is sampled from the personal vault of one of its creators – Berlin-based Alexander Kowalski. We visit his studio to talk about the hardware and effect chains he uses to craft the signature sounds of melodic techno.
