Choose which frequency to boost, apply the boost with the mix control and then choose a filter slope to set the width of the boost. Steep slopes make the boost sound more resonant and precise, while gentle slopes make the boost sound more gradual and warm. Saturate and colour the sound with the drive and tone control. Repeat steps until happy with the results. For an extra tight or loose sound, use the ‘position’ to move the bass boost backwards and forwards in time.

Based around three classic effects; multimode filter, pitch shifter and delay, Convex generates dynamic variations of the input signal by crossfading between two instances of each effect and modulating their key parameters using an extensive array of control modules.

Several key parameters can be modulated using the LFOs, envelope followers, mod mixers, mod multipliers and mod inverters. These parameters feature dedicated mod source menus and depth knobs. Aside from processing audio signals within your DAW, real-time processing of external signals is especially interesting in combination with the envelope followers.
