Loopmasters and Loopcloud have announced the recent addition of Laid-Back ‘N Groovy Guitars by 5Pin Media.
Time to kick back once again and treat your productions to the smooth vibes of Laid-back N’ Groovy Guitars courtesy of Richard Raymond II and 5Pin Media.
Richard Raymond II is a producer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Chicago IL, recently relocated to Colorado Springs CO. Laid-back N’ Groovy Guitars picks up where Laid-back N’ Groovy left off to integrate perfectly with the live Drums, Congas and Bass Guitar of the first chapter.
LBnGG features 376 live guitar loops, 144 guitar one-shots and 142 lap steel one-shots, drawing on influences from psych, jazz, funk and soul and inspired by artists such as Khruangbin, Goat, Fela Kuti and Herbie Hancock.
The loops are split evenly between Raymond’s Fender Jaguar and Telecaster. The Jaguar has a bright, funky single-coil sound, whereas the Telecaster (fitted with a P90 in the neck position) is more warm and round.
The loops feature two versions: one DI’d and the other routed through Raymond’s array of trippy guitar pedals and then outputed via his modded Bugera V5 Infinium. Miking was performed using a Telefunken M80. The lap steel and jaguar one-shots were given the same dual routing treatment. Use the DI versions to add your own processing for ultimate versatility.
The loops are distributed over 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 & 120 BPMs, and the keys of Emaj/C#m, Cmaj/Am, Amaj/F#m and Bbmaj/Gm, giving you a wide variety of moods and feel to play with.
