The Claire Woodwind Series is a deep-sampled collection of the finest virtuoso woodwind soloists ever sampled. These are highly playable instruments soared with true emotion, effortless and equilibristic behavior.
The Claire Woodwind Bundle 10 VST contains Alto-Flute, Bassoon Virtuoso, Clarinet Virtuoso, English Horn Virtuoso, Flute Virtuoso, Oboe Virtuoso and Piccolo Flute. All the libraries contains advanced legato and articulations to cover all your compositional needs. The players chosen for the Claire Woodwinds are amongst the best in the world, so you literally have masters available at your finger tips. All the instruments were sampled with three different microphone positions (Close, Decca, Far).
The Claire Woodwind Bundle stands apart from all other virtual woodwinds because it is all about playability, expression and realism. All the woodwinds contains advanced legato systems that allows you to dial in the expression needed – and while we do have traditional legato (ex. legato & sustains) – we emphasize the point of expression by adding other types of sustains to the legato. So you get true and real vibrato by the player – you get subtle expressions and changes in dynamics/breath – all the things needed for a completely realistic soloist performance.
Claire Virtuoso Series is based on a highly intuitive, playable and expressive legato system. We sampled a variety of different types of expressive sustains and arcs that are all connected to the legato system, so you can go between sustain types that are gentle (p-mp) to strong (f-ff) or sustain types with less or more vibrato. All these articulations can seamlessly be connected while you are playing using our highly advanced legato system.
Claire Virtuoso Series contains three microphone positions (Close, Decca, Wide) and everything was sampled at 96Khz, which provides an unprecedented detail in the sound and reveal details that would otherwise have been lost at lower resolutions. The fidelity of the library is especially revealing once you start combining the microphones and hear the warmth of the instrument, reflections of the room, the air and all the tiny, little details so often missed.
