ARVerb Room Slipped The Net

ARVerb Room is a relatively new release which slipped passed my radar. It’s available for only €40.00.

AVVerb Room is a realistic algorithmic reverb plugin, inspired by physics of sound. It has a single virtual space to create a cohesive whole from multiple tracks. It also has a lightweight and minimal interface.

Features include:

  • ARVerb Room is designed for realistic spatialization, natural sound coloration, and transients preservation.
  • The stereo-in, stereo-out processing is designed to create a realistic spatial image from stereo tracks or bring back to life mono tracks.
  • Placing the different tracks at different locations of the same room helps creating a cohesive whole.
  • The “small room” model is a fast building reverb with realistic spatialization and typical coloration. The “large room” model does the opposite: slow, deep and dense reverb with slight echo. And there’s a third model in between.
  • Besides the room geometry choice, there are four knobs only. Most combinations of them give meaningful results. Gains and delays are automatically compensated.
  • ARVerb Room focuses on reverberation only. For pre-processing or post-processing, there are already many excellent equalizers, compressors, delays, and M/S processors.
  • No bells and whistles. ARVerb Room is designed to be small and lightweight: the plugin is less than 1 MByte and consumes around 3% CPU on a 12 years old Mac mini.

ARVerb Room is available to PC and Mac users (VST and AU).
