Flute

Vertigo flute is another addition to Cinematique Instruments’ symphonic range.

As a further member of our Vertigo series, it inherits similar sonic characteristics, namely the warm and gritty tones of the Vertigo instruments.

Cinematique Instruments put a lot of effort into creating a diverse range of articulations allowing the user to blend from subtle tones to more experimental soundscapes. The effects section of our Vertigo engine enables you to tweak sounds to create anything from cosy warm pads to rougher sounds.

All in all, the Vertigo Flute is a versatile and easy to use tool for sculpting textures fitting for film but feeling equally at home among every producer looking for organic, breathy and unique timbres.

Essentially Vertigo Flute is a melange of 16 meticulously selected flute articulations and additional sounds which can be mixed freely to fulfil your creative vision in an intuitive and easy way.

The overall sound is characterised by a warm and raw flute ensemble, with a special organic flavour. Cinematique Instruments’ aim was to deliver a unique and inspiring flute ensemble. We recorded different articulations (regular, fragile, taped, avant-garde, resampled and blow) with a varying amount of players. All sounds can be mixed, tuned and panned individually. Several articulations can also be varied in the number of players.

Vertigo Flute comes with 13 presets to provide instantly playable ensembles. All of these aspects come together to form the beautiful, rich and organic sound that is Vertigo Flute. Because of its unique assortment of sounds such as raw flute sounds or resampled sources as well as its organic human feel, it is a very special library.

Strings

Essentially Vertigo Strings is a melange of 16 meticulously selected sounds and instruments that can be mixed freely to fulfil your creative vision in an intuitive and easy way. The overall sound is characterised by a deep and rich string ensemble, with a special organic flavour.

Vertigo Strings is a collection of many different and interesting sound sources. On the one hand, Vertigo Strings provides a gamut of articulations for violins, violas, celli, or upright bass, ranging from fragile ponticello pianissino and regular arco playing to harmonics and raw legato recordings. On the other hand, Vertigo provides an arsenal of non-orchestral sounds and instruments, which prove to be interesting and organic alike. There are bowed guitars, tape recordings, a warm synth string patch as well as a vintage harmonium and much more. All of these aspects come together to form the beautiful, rich and organic sound that is Vertigo String Ensemble.

The major principle of Vertigo Strings is to use 16 different sound sources which can be mixed, pitched and paned individually. In addition, there are some master tools available for you to refine the individual melange of instruments.

Cello

Vertigo Cello is packed with an electrifying range of many different appealing articulations of a solo cello as well as playing techniques of a trio. Vertigo Cello convinces with the ability – just like the other Vertigo instruments – to create organic and unique string moods as well as special organic soundscapes in an instant – all within the tonal spectrum of a cello. In addition, of course, you can also play legato sounds full of character.

As a bonus, included is a portamento patch that plays fifths portamento in up and down variations – all in a polyphony of 1 or 4 cellos.

Glass & Iron

As a further member of the Vertigo series, Glass & Iron inherits similar sonic characteristics, namely the warm and gritty tones of the Vertigo instruments.

A lot of effort has been put into creating a diverse range of instruments as well as articulations allowing the user to blend from subtle tones to more experimental soundscapes. This instrument has a collection of 17 meticulously selected glass & metal sounds.

All in all, Vertigo Glass & Iron is a versatile and easy to use tool for sculpting textures fitting for film music, yet it feels equally at home for every producer looking for organic, raw and unique timbres.

Violin

Vertigo Violin is a new addition to Cinematique Instruments’ symphonic range. It is an exciting mixture of different playing techniques of the violin, which have been assembled into the Cinematique Instruments existing Vertigo Engine. The sound of Vertigo Violin is both smooth and rough and opens up the possibility to create very unique and soft string instrument tunings as well as more extreme and strange-sounding soundscapes. And all this is – as always – very organic and lively. It fits so well to all types of film music.

Essentially Vertigo Violin is a melange of 14 meticulously selected violin articulations and additional sounds which can be mixed freely to fulfil your creative vision in an intuitive and easy way. The overall sound is characterised by a warm and raw violin ensemble, with a special organic flavour.

Cinematique Instruments recorded different articulations (fragile, sul pont, harmonics, motion and bounce/ bow) with a varying amount of players. All sounds can be mixed, tuned and panned individually. Several articulations can also be varied in the number of players.
