Element One proudly presents E1 Electro: 606 Beats – the debut release from our new E1 Electro series – a series of packs focusing on classic vintage gear from the world of electro music. Within this series, we take vintage synthesisers and drum machines and produce a diverse selection of must-have audio tools for any electro producer wanting to explore these legendary machines. We explore the classic sounds and uses, whilst also pushing the gear into a more modern territory, for a versatile mix of both classic and contemporary sounds.
The TR-606 is an analogue drum machine released by Roland in 1981. It was originally designed to be a drum companion to the legendary Roland TB-303 synthesiser, however, over the years, the TR-606 has developed into a legendary drum machine, becoming an integral part of the electro sound. The TR-606 has been loved by the likes of Autechre, Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, Plastikman, and Massive Attack.
Within this pack, you’ll find an extensive selection of loops, both full & top loops (kick removed) from a variety of timbres – including clean, tape-driven, distorted, reverb FX, and more, including experimental styles, such as bitcrushed and karplused. You’ll also find accompanying MIDI loops for each beat and raw TR-606 one-shot samples for custom sequencing and mixing.
All these sounds are downloadable in HD WAV at 44.1kHz and 24-bit – tempo-labelled so that you can explore them with maximum ease. All samples are 100% royalty-free.
