Dusty Devices have released Phaser-DDL, the first cycle-accurate software emulation of the unique phaser algorithm from the classic Ensoniq DP/4 effects processor. Phaser-DDL is available €24.00.
Used in countless records since the 1990s, this phaser instantly gives you the unmistakable French vibe. Phaser-DDL has all the same controls as its hardware counterpart, and you can choose from three different sample rates from the original Ensoniq equipment to get that vintage AD/DA converter flavor.
Ensoniq DP/4 and its algorithms were originally created by Jon Dattorro, Bill Mauchly, Dave Andreas, John O. Senior, Tom Metcalf and Bill McCutcheon.
Phaser-DDL is available to PC and Mac users (VST3 and AU).
