HG Sounds Release Transitions For Kontakt

Homegrown Sounds have released Transitions, an instrument which is designed around the idea of cross fading between 2 waveforms using an LFO. It’s available at the intro price of $14.99, increasing to $29.99 after the promotion. The offer ends October 7th.

The included 127 waveforms were multi-sampled at 96khz from a Korg NTS-1 using various different Oscillator Models. They are single cycle & so use very little memory & sound very clean & strong. The NTS-1 is a great little synth that allows loading 3rd party oscillators & some of these are very interesting.

There are currently 2 variations of the instrument, the first resets the LFO & the second uses a free running LFO. There still appears to be a bug in Kontakt that causes a crash when changing this setting via scripting, but I’m looking into a way of getting around this so it can be switched via the GUI.

After years of building complex Kontakt instruments, this is part of a recent series attempting to create fairly simple & focused instruments that are easy to use.

Transitions requires a full version of Kontakt.
