Larry Taylor has released MIDIRMX, a simple utility that allows routing from one MIDI port to another and the monitoring or saving of MIDI data. It’s available from the App Store for $0.99.
Features include:
- Multiple, independent instances
- Selection of MIDI input and output port
- Selection of split point, MIDI channels, and transposition
- Connect MIDI ports without using a DAW
- Monitor incoming data (raw and annotated)
- Capture incoming MIDI data in standard MIDI files
MIDIRMX requires macOS 10.9 or later.
