Hang Drum is the new instalment in the Sonixinema innovative range of virtual instruments, The Experiments. Performed by virtuoso Hang player, Marc Constantine, this library was designed to fill a gap in the virtual Hang Drum market.
With a wonderfully rich and intimate sound, this library is perfect for creating beautiful melodic lines, fast rhythmical passages and stunning, aleatoric effects. The custom user interface was carefully designed to be both intuitive and inspiring, allowing you to warp and shape your sound with filters, reverbs, distortion and much more.
Sonixinema captured a range of basic articulations such as Single Hits, Muted Hits and Tremolo, however it is what they captured next which truly brings the library to life. In collaboration with Marc, Sonixinema curated a range of unique and inspiring articulations, some of which aren’t featured in any other sample libraries. These include Flams, Knuckle Wraps, Harmonics, Pitch Bends, Spinning Hang and much more. These sounds add a whole new creative dimension to the Hang Drum, allowing you to have direct access to the tone and creative flair that Marc has spent years developing.
