Aim Audio bring you a unique textural pack – a must-have for producers looking for some real analogue, dusty, textural sounds. Some of these crackle recordings are taken from vinyl that’s over 60 years old!
Use these as intros, outros or to mark section changes within your tracks – they are completely unique as they don’t come from anything other than dust – remember, we’re all made of dust, space dust!
Fact – a 33 RPM record rotates at 90 BPM, making instant dope and sometimes wonky or broken rhythmic patterns. Take the rhythms and add beats over them to get a set of super original beat patterns from an uncopied and unexplored source, perfect for hip-hop, soul, jazz, and downtempo genres.
It’s a whole new dimension down there in between the grooves of a record – don’t ever underestimate it, it holds vast microscopic mountain ranges that come at you fast and furious, or in this case, dope and slow.
