Audio Brewers have released Peace, an artistic statement against armed conflicts and the current state of the world represented as a Kontakt library. It’s available at the intro price of €69.00, increasing to €119.00 after the promotion. The offer ends February 15th.
Audio Brewers have partnered once again with Artists from Dustbowl Cinematic to create a one-of-a-kind instrument that you surely have never heard before, and yet, you can now add to your sonic journey.
PEACE is a unique concept, from its idea to its construction, recording, and development – trust me when I tell you that you might be witnessing a truly unique creative approach.
Peace is a stringed instrument created on an empty shell – artist Stamatis Stringaris (Dust Bowl Cinematic) created this beautiful instrument as an artistic statement, which we decided to try and amplify.
While the instrument is played like a Cello, the sound it produces is completely unique, as the body of the instrument is a metallic, empty shell.
But not only that: a secondary resonance box lies above the musician, producing reverb-like sounds that travel through the metallic body of the instrument, all the way to an army helmet that creates these resonances using springs and other resonance goodies.
For that very reason, the instrument itself is a completely immersive experience, as the musician can feel the sound not only coming from the instrument itself but also from above them.
Features include:
- Custom-made Bowed Instrument, built from an empty missile shell
- 35 Articulations (+9 with Legato, +10 Sound Design +100+ SFX)
- Adaptive Polyphonic Legato
- Immersive Perspectives: Mix, Body, Helmet, Audience.
- Stereo Perspectives: Mix, Body, Helmet, Binaural.
- Recorded, Mixed, and Delivered in Ambisonics and Stereo.
- Pristine 24bit / 48kHz resolution.
- Natively compatible with Stereo, Surround, Atmos, Binaural, VR, and any speaker array configuration.
Peace requires a full version of Kontakt 6.2.1 or later.
