Filter Friend is here to help you create your creative quick filter effects.
You can of course use Filter Friend to create great simple creative sweep effects.. But to really let Filter Friend come into its own, you can make use of all the advanced timing-related filter effects, the different filter types, filter strengths, filter waveforms, the distortion options and the built-in eq.
Furthermore, you can effortlessly change the strength of any applied filter waveform. You can apply an eq to the filtered result and use our position timing.
With the position option, the timing follows the position of your DAW playhead relative to your song length.
Also, you can manually adjust the timing with free mode by using the rate knob, but you can also sync Filter Friend to part of your track via the classic sync option. The range of the rate knob in free mode is determined by the set tempo setting.
Filter Friend does not have a manual. Why not?, Filter Friend is based on vector knobs and buttons which explain on each mouse hoover what they are intended for. This way it is easy to quickly understand all the possibilities of the plugin.
You can currently use four filter types in Filter Friend. Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, and Band Reject. The waveforms contain the classic sine and saw waveform, but also the well-known triangle, ramp, and pulse waveform. Oh, did we mention the advanced distortion and eq?
