Blind Audio and Stefan Binkele bring you 5Mentarios – New Wave. Combining his characterful, DIY approach to songwriting and recording, Binkele pulls strong influence from new post-punk and industrial rock. Offering a slew of rough-and-ready, emotionally driven sample content, 5Mentarios is the perfect solution for any producer looking to add a raw, gritty edge to their productions.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Molchat Doma, and Crystal Castles, you’ll find a wealth of loops and one-shots, recorded using gritty DIY techniques and processing, you’ll find driven guitars, imposing bass, dirty drums, and plenty of raw vocal hooks – all coated in a healthy helping of tape saturation, distortion, and overall grit.
All loops are rendered at 89 BPM and in the key of C#m. Mix and match loops or use them in combination with your own sounds to create something brand-new. Blind Audio brings you only the best sounds available, pulling from a varied collection of sound sources including classic analogue and digital synths, real-world instruments, and high-quality field recordings.
The Blind Audio team recognise the importance of continuity when it comes to sound libraries and sample packs, that’s why each pack keeps to a consistent key and tempo throughout. They wanted to make sure that all sounds work well with each other. You won’t need to pitch or stretch them to make them fit. Likewise, all one-shot samples that have a detectable pitch are recorded at the note C for ease of use.
