Surdo 2
The Surdo is a Brazillian bass drum usually made of wood or metal eith skin on both sides. Traditionally used in samba and other derivative styles, the Surdo has been within this niche since the carnival in the 1920’s remaining relevant to this dayin typical modern musical styles of Brazil.
Bacurinha
The Bacurinha emerged in the 90’s, having smaller than the Repinique. Initially designed to follow the Timbalada, the Bacurinha has a new role in Brazillian music with a new language and uts own style within the Pagode Baiano.
