Audio Embers have released Disturbine 2, a jet engine library, available for £39.50 / $48.50.
The original jet engine sampler instrument made from recordings of the following aircraft engines:
- General Electric CF6
- CFM International CFM56
- Pratt & Witney F100
- Rolls-Royce Pegasus
Full version features include:
- Integrated pattern sequencer controlling velocity, note duration, release & low pass filter
- 8 separate and freely mixable groups allowing for vast sound design possibilities
- 2 granular engines with speed length X/Y pad and separate smoothing and tune controls
- 8 channel mixer with individual stereo spread and pan controls
- Fully automatable interface parameters with Komplete Kontrol integration
- Freely editable main interface with ADSR, high and low pass filters, filter modulation andreverb controls
Lite version features include:
- Single sample group using Rolls-Royce Pegasus as source material
- Attack and Release controls
- Low pass resonant filter with cutoff control
- Reverb amount control
- 18 snapshot presets
- Granular engine with X/Y pad control
- Fully automatable with Komplete Kontrol integration
- The instrument can be freely edited and modified
