Ueberschall have released Nylon String Theory, a collection of five extended construction kits showcasing the beautiful and hypnotic sound of the nylon strung concert guitar. Nylon String Theory is available for €49.00.
Imagine the recipe: the expressive sound of classic Spanish guitar music spiced up with a modern rhythm section and spiced with elements of progressive rock. The result? Nylon String Theory, a collection of five comprehensive construction kits that showcase the beautiful and hypnotic tone of the nylon-strung classical guitar. The virtuosic performances offer breathtaking melodic runs supported by powerful rhythmic arpeggios. Nylon String Theory is the ideal starting point for a musical journey of discovery.
With 2 GB of sample data and over 700 loops, each of the five construction kits is extensively equipped and has the necessary variety to create your own complete arrangements. The individual loops are up to 16 bars long (up to 24 seconds) at original tempos between 128 and 160 BPM. The kits contain special intro and outro sections as well as 3 to 5 different main parts, so you can easily create extensive compositions.
The central instrument is the acoustic concert guitar with nylon strings. Each musical section within a kit contains multiple guitar parts. These are available as premixed stereo loops (labeled ISM), as solo loops, and as DI versions (recorded with a high-quality pickup). Other instruments include electric bass (both amp and DI loops), strings, synths, pads and electric piano. Pre-mixed drum loops and individual tracks for kick, kick sub, snare top, snare bottom, snare trigger, hihat, cymbals, toms, overheads and room mics are also included.
Between classic Spanish guitar music, contemporary pop rhythms and rock, Nylon String Theory defines its own genre. For songwriters, producers and media composers looking to bring a strong Latin flavor with a modern twist to their next music project, Nylon String Theory is an inspirational source of musical magic.
Nylon String Theory requires Ueberschall’s Elastik Player, available as a free download to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3, AU and AAX).
