Puremagnetik Release Tensol – A Tension Resonator Repeater

Puremagnetik have released Tensol, a versatile sound shaping tool, available for $20.00 or as part of the Puremagnetik subscription service.

Tensol is built on a string tension resonator, granular particle chopper, stretcher and variable delay line.

It takes incoming signal, runs it through a resonator – then chops, warps and reorganizes everything. It will also pitch shift the results in semitones or in a tape style pitch scaling.

On top of all of this, Tensol comes with Jumble mode which randomizes every control for unthought of combinations and results. A powerful sound design and audio experimentation tool, Tensol will be sure to give you some new ideas about phrasings, harmonic content and more.

Tensol is available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3 and AU)
