Klevgrand have reduced the price of various apps for a limited time. The offers end May 25th.

The deals include:

  • Brusfri – from $14.99 to $7.99
  • DAW Cassette – from $12.99 to $6.99
  • STARK Amp Sim – from $19.99 to $9.99
  • Slammer – from $15.99 to $7.99
  • Borsta – from $19.99 to $9.99
  • Rum – Room Sim – from $14.99 to $6.99

Brusfri

Brusfri is a highly advanced audio noise reducer, packed into a simple and straight-forward interface. It is very well suited for cleaning up noisy audio recordings, while retaining sound quality. Unlike many other noise reducers on the market, Brusfri doesn’t mess with audio phasing to suppress noise (a technique that often comes with audible side effects). Instead, multiple fine-tuned gates are used to silence unwanted noise.

DAW Cassette

DAW Cassette is an Audio Unit effect that emulates the sound of a classic tape deck. The intuitive and easy-to-use controls make it a versatile tool for adding warmth and character to a specific track or your entire mix.

STARK Amp Simulator

STARK is a fully fledged amplifier simulator consisting of four modules: Amplifier, Cabinet, Room and effects slots. These modules are processing audio separately, which makes it possible to combine different amplifiers with different cabinets and rooms.

The amp module offers 12 different amplifier profiles. It has both a clean mode and a overdrive mode, an equalizer functionality (including presence), and a booster controlling the end stage amplification saturation.

Cabinet simulation consists of 10 different cabinets of various sizes and sound. This module also offers a stereo width knob that simulates the distance between two microphones put in front of the cone.

Room simulation offers 6 different kinds of rooms, where each room size can be changed between Small, Medium and Large. There’s also a decay parameter controlling reflectivity of the walls and a dry/wet mix.

The pedal board contains 4 slots where any of the 14 effects can be inserted. The order of the pedals can easily be changed using drag and drop.

Slammer

Slammer is a multi-sampled drum plugin that contains 30 different instruments made from a very large number of carefully recorded and edited samples. Integrated custom-built real-time effects combined with some clever routing makes Slammer a versatile and flexible virtual instrument that is capable of rendering anything from natural acoustic to heavily distorted and compressed drum sounds.

The audio engine consists of 12 separate instrument players that are mapped to different MIDI notes. Each one of these players can be assigned to any of the 30 instruments available and also provide a large set of individual settings like pitch, filtering, effect sends, decay time, velocity mapping, and more.

There’s also a global “Dirt” section for distortion and compression, a reverb and tone control. The amount of “dirt” and reverb can be set individually for each instrument as well. To top it all off, Slammer comes with a set of factory presets, covering anything from light and slick to heavy and gritty.

Borsta

Borsta is a virtual drum and percussion instrument. What sets Borsta apart from similar instruments is that its audio engine supports a brushing feature that can simulate strokes and brushes with continuous changes in intensity. This makes it possible to create an endless number of very lifelike brushing phrases and rhythms, something that can’t be easily achieved with ordinary sample-based instruments.

The internal sequencer allows you to determine exactly when to start a stroke, how the stroke’s pressure/speed should evolve over time and when to end it. On top of that, each instrument offers a couple of multi-sampled one-shots with advanced choking capabilities.

The initial version of Borsta comes with 18 different instruments, but each instance of the plug-in emulates one single drum instrument at a time. That means the sequences can only be played one at a time. However, switching between sequences can be done seamlessly via MIDI, and additional one-shot samples can be triggered using an ordinary MIDI track.

Each instrument is structured and MIDI-mapped in a uniform way, which makes it possible to use the same sequence on any instrument. For instance, a traditional swing pattern will sound musically correct no matter whether you choose a Frame Drum, Tambourine or Snare Drum – it will just sound like the musician changed instruments.

Each instrument is based on more than 400 high-quality samples, recorded for playing with different velocities and round robins.

Rum – Room Simulator

RUM simulates different kinds of rooms – from acoustically treated studio booths to spaces found in an ordinary home. One can think of this plug-in as if the audio source was recorded in stereo from the other side of the room, a common technique for recording acoustic instruments in order to breathe life into a dry sound source.

In addition to the ten multi-recorded rooms (with different mic settings and characters that can be cross combined) there’s an advanced stereo spread and modulation unit for even more tweakability.

This plug-in also comes with low cut and high cut filters, pre-delay (with tempo sync), a full set of factory presets and a built-in ducker making it easy to tame transients on the wet signal.
