Florian Mrugalla has released MIDIHold, a MIDI utility that holds MIDI notes monophonically (or poly in case of MPE), available as a FREE download however donations are welcomed.
MIDIHold is similiar to MIDIWrap it manipulates and then outputs MIDI. If you have ever used vocoders (like TAL Vocoder) you must have noticed that the sound stops when there are pauses in the MIDI data. Florian decided to solve this issue by making this plugin, which removes the pauses by holding the notes as long as possible. That way you can perform better with vocoders without having to hold down your keys all the time.
There is a catch, it only works with monophonic inputs.
You are allowed to have up to 12 overlapping notes, but it still only plays one note at a time. If you enable MPE mode, you can actually get polyphonic output, because each of the 16 MIDI input channels will get their own MIDIHold internally. You just have to make sure to go in there with prepared MIDI then.

MIDIHold is available to PC users (VST3).
