Origins is a new Kontakt product that allows you to build extended, original pieces starting from organised long patterns as building blocks, live switchable sections and themes.
Every theme will invite you to a different journey, a breath of fresh air for film and game work with modern mixes of authentic sounds and groove elements.
8 Themes with Switchable Sections.
Every section in each theme are built by similar instruments. It allows you to build unique compositions by live cross-switching between sections and use all patterns in sections as building blocks. All patterns are always in sync with our SyncPlay tech, allowing you to compose while playing and add detailed gestures from patterns, in sync, always.
Origins brings a big pool of recorded long patterns (up to 25 sec. each) to be used as building blocks for your tracks or to find fast inspiration and add fresh elements to your already formed beats.
All patterns in each section are recorded to work with each other and all sections of the same theme has a similar vibe with developing musical expression.
Origins content is recorded and composed by Anello Capuano and his team. Acclaimed as one of the most prominent world music multi-instrumentalist, he mixed different cultures and musical forms to create this unique library. This library fuses world, groove, jazz and other forms in a modern way.
Think of SyncPlay mode as a background sync’er when you are playing patterns. What happens when you normally play a sample in Kontakt (by keyboard or MIDI). It starts the corresponding sample at sample start and plays as long as you hold the key.
Now, in SyncPlay mode, when you play a sample (by keyboard or MIDI) and if there’s another sample already playing, the new sample will start playing at a synced position allowing you to compose while playing and add detailed gestures from patterns.
Play & Mod panels will help you further shape the sounds separately for patterns and solo instruments. We added mono legato and linking function between solos and patterns in the new version.
The yellow keys are patterns to play and blue keys are tuning options and the red keys are ready to live switch sections. Have fun!
