Ueberschall have released Bossa Nova Primeiro, a classic mix of samba rhythms and jazz harmonies soundbank for ELASTIK, available for €99.00.
With syncopated grooves and exceptional chord progressions, Bossa Nova Primeiro is authentic and exotic. Also for Latin Brasil, Jazz or Lounge.
With over 5 GB of samples and almost 800 loops, the ten construction kits contain between two and six musical sections. Each loop is up to 1 minute long. The original recording speeds range from 88 to 162 BPM, some kits are recorded with a relaxed halftime feel. The large scope of the individual construction kits makes it easy to create complete arrangements with a lot of variety in a short time.
The instrumentation includes double bass (with separate loops for microphone and piezo), classical guitar (with nylon strings) and piano (with separate loops for acoustic and electric piano). Solo performances are provided by a saxophone for most parts, but also by a flute in some places. As befits the style, the guitar provides both the foundation of the chord structure and the emphasis of the rhythm. The drums come with authentic bossa nova rhythms and lots of rimshots. There are pre-mixed drum loops as well as individual tracks for kick (inside and out), snare (top and bottom), hihat, toms, overheads, two different room mics and congas.
The key is indicated for each kit, but given the elaborate jazz-influenced harmonies, there is some key modulation. The full chord progressions are therefore included in an attached PDF file.
Bossa Nova Primeiro captures the smooth, sensual and sophisticated nature of Brazil’s most famous musical export. The library is a perfect addition to our existing Brasil Nova Primeiro and Segundo titles. For songwriters, producers or media composers who want the perfect bossa nova groove for their next Latin Brasil, Lounge, Jazz or Chillout project, Bossa Nova Primeiro is the perfect choice.
Ueberschall’s Elastik Player is available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3, AU, AAX and Standalone).
