ChowDSP have updated BYOD with a number of new features and improvements. BYOD is still available as a FREE download with various in-app purchases available for various packs to add more “specialised” guitar effects, including circuit emulations from classic and rare guitar amplifiers.

Build-Your-Own-Distortion (BYOD) is an audio plugin that allows the user to create custom guitar effects, with a focus on guitar distortion. The plugin contains emulations of guitar distortion and tone-shaping circuits from various, along with a handful of other useful effects.

Kiwi Pack
The Kiwi Pack contains virtual analog emulations of circuits from some rare and unique New Zealand valve amplifiers, including the Jansen Bassman and Fountain Mustang.
Boutique Pack
The Boutique Pack contains emulations of circuits from classic boutique amplifiers, including the Dumble ODS, Jim Kelley Amplifier, Fender 5E3 Deluxe, and a custom-built bass amplifier.
Canuck Pack
The Canuck Pack contains emulations of circuits from classic Canadian-made amplifiers, including the Garnet Herzog and Traynor Reverbmaster.
