Ueberschall have released Latin Summer, a new expansion for Elastik Player, available for €99.00.
Latin Summer is a mix of danceable grooves and plenty of Latin flair straight from the next street or beach party. Electronic beats, organic live percussion and fat bass lines get every crowd moving. The whole thing is supplemented by syncopated pianos, synths and guitars. Everything together results in the perfect party groove.
With 3.5 GB and 751 loops, the ten construction kits contain 3 or 4 parts each. The tempi move in a dance-friendly range from 110 to 134 BPM. The individual loops are up to 32 seconds long. Each of the construction kits offers a wealth of performance options and makes it easy to create complete tracks.
The core of Latin Summer is the combination of programmed electronic drums with live acoustic percussion. The electronic elements consist of kicks, snares, rims, claps, hihats and cymbals, while the acoustic elements include conga, agogo, triangle, claves, timba, surdo, cowbell, shaker, guiro and tambourine. Both a premixed, ready-to-use stereo loop and individual tracks for all drum elements are available. Creating your own drum mix is child’s play. The bass lines are either provided by a well-rehearsed electric bass or fat synth basses. The rest of the instrumentation consists of various synths, pads, arpeggios, electric and acoustic piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, trumpet, saxophone, kalimba and marimba. Various FX sounds and risers complete everything.
Elastik Player is available to PC and Mac users (VST, AU, AAX and standalone).
