SampleScience have released Modular Synth VCO, a plugin that replicates the distinctive sonic palette of the Doepfer A-110-1 module’s four primary waveforms. Modular Synth VCO is available as a FREE download.
This digital marvel exudes an edgy and unconventional auditory character, setting it apart from the norm. Despite being digital, its waveforms are unstable, like analog oscillators.
Notably, the triangle and sine waveforms bear a delightful imperfection, endowing them with a unique charm.
Despite its apparent simplicity, the Modular Synth VCO offers a multitude of possibilities: crafting deep basses, crafting ethereal pads, forging thick leads, generating soft keys, and beyond.
While it excels particularly in producing lo-fi tones, its capabilities extend beyond this realm.
The plugin comes with an FXP preset collection of 25 pre-programmed sounds (not compatible with Logic Pro and the AU version of the plugin).
