Intimate Viola is a deeply personal project focused on capturing the absolute softest dynamics of a solo viola, with all the bow noise and small imperfections captured in incredible detail. To get as close as possible, Bunker Samples placed a tiny microphone inside the instrument, while also recording it from the outside.
The result is unparalleled detail full of character and emotion, with 33 articulations in total, including 4 lengths of natural swells.
