The library is chock-full of acoustic guitar performances that will provide plenty of inspiration for your next folk, pop, country or rock singer-songwriter production. Folk Pop Guitar is part of our Instrument Series and provides the perfect acoustic guitar accompaniment for any project.
The library is divided into 35 folders and contains 4.4 GB of samples, totaling almost 1000 loops and phrases. Each of the main folders focuses on a specific musical idea, up to 24 seconds long. The folder name indicates the original key and tempo, with tempos ranging from 60 to 124 BPM. However, both tempo and key can be adapted to any project with Elastic.
Within each folder, four subfolders – Main, Picked, Chords, Outro – provide different performance styles for the underlying musical idea. The Main subfolder contains the full theme played rhythmically, while the Picked and Chords subfolders contain the same underlying chord progression with fingerpicking patterns and simpler static chords, respectively. For all subfolders, the guitars were recorded with both mic and DI, with no reverb or delay. Each performance consists of three recorded guitars, so each subfolder contains a total of 7 loops:
- Mix of Mic and DI recordings
- Mix of Mic recordings only
- Middle Guitar Mic
- Left/Right Guitars Mic
- Mix of DI recordings only
- Middle Guitar DI
- Left/Right Guitars DI
The Left/Right guitars (4 and 7) are combined into a stereo loop, but panned hard left and hard right so they can be separated if necessary. In combination with the additional outro folder, the performance and recording variants offer maximum flexibility in song arrangement and mixing.
Folk Pop Guitar is an excellent complement to other Elastik titles such as Acoustic Guitar 1 and 2 , Country Loops , Pedal Steel and Resonator Guitar .
