Isotonik Studios have released Latency Fixer & Recorder, two Ableton device that allows for latency free recording, available for £12.00.
Latency Fixer allows you to record with enabled monitoring on any track (Audio or MIDI) and correct the latency in your recorded takes afterwards, even if your project includes a lot of latency heavy plugins. Latency Free Recorder Solves the issue right at the recording stage. The results are the same, but you can decide which device fits your workflow the best.
- Latency Fixer: This device nudges the recorded takes backward by the exact current latency amount.
- Latency Free Recorder: This device employs a glitch to resolve the problem directly during the recording stage.
