United Plugins have announced an update to Verbum Entropic Hall and have reduced the price for a limited time. Plugin Boutique are offering a 55% discount, now only £44.95 / $56.13, (usually £99.95 / $124.81 after the promotion. The offer ends September 30th.
What’s new:
Verbum Entropic Hall 3 comes up with 2 more device models, so now you can choose from three hall algorithms. To make the Verbum 3 experience even more joyful, United Plugins added in and out controls and the ducking function, which is designed to help the clean signal push through and not lose punch and attack. When used, it lowers the wet signal level automatically whenever a new dry signal comes to the plugin input.
The recent digital world tends to line up everything. That makes things predictable and… well, boring. The beauty of life is in chaos and randomness of unexpected and Verbum Entropic Hall reflects that, which makes it one of the most realistic reverbs out there.
Verbum’s vintage-style core is based on a long term exploration of SounDevice Studio’s vintage hardware collection, with the desire to combine the best from both analogue and digital worlds.
This universal reverb can be very clean, lush and vintage, but always gives the user a hardware feel. Vocals, acoustic instruments or drums – all these (and many more – depending on your creativity) can benefit from Verbum’s warm, advanced algorithm.
Verbum is not a saturation plugin, but the feel of analogue saturation is strongly present, while the Colour control gives this reverb a unique analogue colour.
The advanced late reflections treatment algorithm ensures that your tracks will never sound sterile, artificial or boring. These chaotic reflections bring life to your tracks.
To get the authentic feel of the vintage reverb machines, Verbum is equipped with a 12 BIT button which triggers a simulation of old AD/DA converters, giving your sound a pleasant and interesting grain.
Although Verbum destroys the sound in an analogue way, you can polish the sound with the Lush parameter. This special late reflections modulation softens and smoothes the reverb’s sound.
The ‘Legendarism’ control brings up a special simulation process that enriches the sound with the colour and saturation of legendary reverbs.
The photorealistic graphic user interface of the plugin gives you the feeling that you are touching the real hardware. You can always drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to change its size – make it smaller to save the valuable screen space, or enlarge it to make it easier to use.
The intelligent way this plugin manages bypassing ensures that you don’t get any clicks or harmful noises when automating the parameter.
Verbum Entropic Hall 3 is available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3, AU and AAX).
