ADSR are offering 93% off Aurora Choir by Aria Sounds, now available for only £28.27, (usually £388.98). The offer ends October 5th.
The Aurora Choir is an elegant and powerful choir sample library, and represents somewhat of a milestone for Aria Sounds, being the culmination of many hours of work, study and tweaking.
The library contains both Soprano and Alto female singers with 3 modes:
- Legato – playable scripted legato (rather than recorded legato) where the plugin will crossfade pitch bend between two notes to create an organic transition between notes
- Poly – turns on the Polyphonic effect allowing you to play chords with the voices.
- Short syllables – standard latin sounding phrases such as “Di,” “La,” Sol”, Rae”, “Il” etc. that can be combined in a convenient sequencer to create longer phrases. Simplyarrange your phrase in the sequence, and play away – the choir will automatically sing the syllables you enter.
The plugin is fully resizeable – simply click on the 3 dots in the top left corner to change the UI zoom amount from 50% (half size) all the way up to 250%.
Note: This plugin features the same content as the Kontakt library version, but has been converted to plugin format.
The choir was recorded in a mid sized hall, for a pristine and clear sound, with four mic positions used to ensure that no part of the vocalists’ glorious sound was wasted. Choose from, or create your own personal blend from the four available positions.
The positions are ordered from closest to furthest, and you even have the option between close condenser mics, and close ribbon mics (for a darker and warmer sound). If an even more reverberant sound is what you are after, there is a reverb slider on the interface, and you’ll also be pleased to know that this library takes external reverb very well.
With Aurora Choir plugin you get two independent send effects slots where each of the 4 microphones can be routed to.
Aurora Choir requires a full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or later.
