Jorge Reales a.k.a discoDSP has reduced the price of his apps until November 3rd. The deals are:

  • OB-Xd – from $9.99 to $5.99
  • OPL – from $9.99 to $5.99
  • Scope – from $2.99 to $0.99
  • Schroeder – from $2.99 to $0.99

OB-Xd

OB-Xd is based on the Oberheim OB-X. It attempts to recreate its sound and behavior, but as the original was very limited in some important ways, a number of things were added or altered to the original design.

OB-Xd was designed to sound as good and as rich as the original. It implements micro random detuning. Also, like many synths of the OB-X’s generation, the OB-Xd has no internal effects so its sounds and textures can be greatly enhanced by the use of additional processing like chorus, reverb, delay, etc.

OPL

The OPL is a digital sound synthesis chip developed by Yamaha in the mid 1980s. Among other products, it was used in sound cards for PC, including the Ad Lib card and early Sound Blaster series.

This instrument provides an emulated OPL sound chip. It provides all features of the OPL2, and some features of the OPL3. More than 2000 presets are included.

Each instance of the plugin emulates an entire OPL chip, but with this plugin, essentially you are just working with two operators: the carrier and modulator. Standalone app requires MIDI keyboard.

Scope

Get audio visuals with your AUv3 host or the standalone app. Scope uses a two-axis graph to give a visual representation of a waveform over time, with the horizontal axis representing time and the vertical axis representing the amplitude.

Oscilloscopes are frequently used to assist dynamics processing and sound synthesis. It’s usually placed last in the signal chain, so that it analyses the cumulative effects of any plugins placed before it. Like any analysis plugin, though, you can place it anywhere in the chain, to view the signal at that point.

Schroeder

The Schroeder Reverb, a high-quality digital reverb effect designed to add depth, dimensionality, and natural-sounding ambience to your music recordings. Developed by Manfred Schroeder in the 1960s, this sophisticated tool has become a staple in the music industry, valued for its ability to produce a wide range of reverb effects that can be used across multiple genres.

Featuring a series of all-pass filters and feedback loops, Schroeder Reverb emulates the way sound behaves in large acoustic spaces, such as concert halls and cathedrals. The result is a diffuse and natural-sounding reverb tail that adds a sense of space and atmosphere to your recordings. Whether you’re recording orchestral music or electronic dance music, Schroeder Reverb offers versatility and flexibility to meet your specific needs.

With a user-friendly interface and intuitive controls, Schroeder Reverb is easy to use, allowing you to customize your reverb effects to suit your creative vision. Whether you’re looking to add subtle ambiance or create a highly atmospheric and ethereal sound, Schroeder Reverb delivers professional-grade results.

Used by musicians, producers, and audio engineers around the world, Schroeder Reverb is a must-have tool for anyone looking to achieve a polished, professional sound. With its exceptional quality and versatility, Schroeder Reverb will take your music recordings to the next level. So why wait? Add Schroeder Reverb to your toolkit today and start creating stunning reverb effects that will leave your listeners in awe.
