Suzumushi0 has released SpeakerObjects, a plugin that specializes in binaural reproduction of stereo speaker-based sound fields, available as a FREE download.
Headphone monitoring of stereo sound that is assumed to be play-backed from speakers degrades sound localization. Similarly, stereo speaker sound mixed by headphone monitoring leads to sound imbalance. In this case, it is necessary to compensate for the acoustic characteristics of the listening room during mixing, which is supported by SpakerObjects.
SpeakerObjects is available to Windows users (VST3).
