In the early 1960s, beat music took the world by storm. Originating from England, the rebellious style with elements of rock & roll, rhythm & blues and traditional pop soon filled the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and sent the masses into a frenzy. A new sound was born.
With new fashion and hairstyles, the young generation rebelled against the conservative lifestyle of their time. With driving rhythms, guitar sound with spring reverb and a solid bass foundation, 60s Beat is a sonic journey through time that immediately immerses the listener in this era.
60s Beat captures this authentic sound in 10 comprehensive construction kits with over 6GB and more than 1,200 loops. Each kit consists of 3 or 4 parts plus intro and outro. Individual loops can be up to 56 seconds long, so complete song arrangements with lots of variety are no problem. The tempo is between 68 and 168 BPM, but can be easily adjusted using Elastik’s powerful algorithms.
The instrument selection includes electric guitar, electric bass, acoustic piano, organ, strings and saxophone. Up to three guitars are available for each construction kit part. These are each included as a dry DI version, an amp version without effects and with effects such as spring reverb. The electric bass is also included as a DI and amp version. The drums are available as a pre-mixed stereo loop for immediate use, but also in individual tracks for bass drum (inside and outside), snare drum (top and bottom) and snare trigger. The latter makes it possible to easily change the snare or replace it with a clap if necessary. Individual tracks for hihat, toms, overheads, room microphones and cymbals as well as various percussion loops, including claps, tambourine and conga, round off the rhythm section. All instruments are recorded in the usual high quality and still capture the authentic sound of the early 60s.
