SampleScience Update Pastoral Piano

SampleScience have updated Pastoral Piano with new features, currently available for $20.00. A 24 hour offer is available for subscribers to the SampleScience newsletter.

In a small shack deep in the Boreal forest, a strange electronic instrument was found. Made of wood, its inside is pure analog circuitry even though the sound that comes out of it is acoustic. If the Mellotron had a yet-to-be-discovered piano sound, it would have the tone of this instrument.

Think the sound of a 1950s acoustic piano played on a vintage tape reel and you’ve got Pastoral Piano. Perfect for lo-fi hip-hop, vaporwave, and Boards of Canada-influenced music compositions.

The new version adds distortion, delay, chorus, and reverb effects as well as a Multi-LFO to modulate the piano sound to your taste.

Features include:

  • Acoustic piano recorded on tape
  • Distortion, Delay, Chorus, Reverb
  • Saw/Sine layers
  • Multi-LFO
  • Lowpass/highpass filter
  • Low-CPU usage
  • Amplitude range controls

Pastoral Piano is available to PC and Mac users (VST2, VST3 and AU).
