Psycho Circuitry have released VocalFIXit Suite, available at the intro price of $19.00, increasing to $39.00 after the promotion. There’s also a FREE ‘lite’ version to download.
The VocalFIXit Suite takes on some utilitarian type tasks for vocal editing but with a hardware minded approach.
Based on analog transient detection circuits and various “tick and pop” type machine design concepts, these offer a more colored type approach than the typical digital/spectral approaches, but perhaps with a more pleasing type of breakup when hit harder.
The suite comprises three hardware inspired tools for perfecting voice recordings. DeCLICK, DePLOSV, DeBLEED. Edge control to adjust the transient response. Character adjusts the reaction time. VCA colour to shape the saturation behavior. Fully indepndent stereo.
The FREE version has the same technology as the full suite but with only sensitivity and delta controls. Up to x16 OS. Mono only.
