Wisdom Music have announced will be released a Mac version of GeoShred, their award winning, one of a kind instrument. There’s currently no information on pricing or availability however it’s expected within the next couple of months. Complete the survey to help Wisdom Music with the rollout.
GeoShred Mac is a MacOS version of GeoShred that runs as a standalone app and an AUv3 plugin. You can use your iOS device running GeoShred to control GeoShred Mac. Using iOS GeoShred, you get all the same three-dimensional physical modeling expressive control that you would get on your iOS device. Further, because it runs as an Auv3 plug-in on your Mac, it can be a part of your normal production workflow.
GeoShred Mac is best performed, expressively, from GeoShred’s isomorphic keyboard. That being said you can perform GeoShred-Mac with an MPE controller and for the guitars and Naada instruments from a conventional MIDI controller or a breath controller.
