2600 Pulses & Drones explores in depth the raw power of a 1976 vintage Arp 2600. In contrast to the last Arp 2600 pack which focused on making a polyphonic playable instrument, this is a collection of loops, drones, and pulses crafted in the moment tweaking this monstrous modular synth.
This pack is great for scoring and electronic genera’s, featuring a plethora of useful pulses, drones, and sequences to build on.
All of the samples were recorded at 44kHz 24bit via Apogee Symphony I/O through API mic preamps and mixed for maximum detail, EQ balance, and clarity. Instrument pitches are labeled in the filenames.
