Erb N Dub – Live DNB Drum Breaks is a huge collection of 857 drum hits and 193 drum loops. 50 construction kits have been built into a highly versatile VST instrument. Using the instrument you are able to recreate and rearrange every loop into your own unique drum patterns. 5 custom kits have been used to record a range of different drum styles and sounds. The drums in this pack can already be heard on releases by Calyx & Teebee, Macky Gee and Kill Box.
The VST instrument is compatible on the latest OS for mac and windows. Using the VST you can load any of the 50 construction kits that will trigger up to 12 hits per kit. A total of 600 unique hits can be triggered using the VST instrument.
VST instrument parameters include ADSR, HP filter, reverb, drive, delay, tune, pan and volume. Using the VST you can adjust these parameters to create a multitude of unique and interesting sounds.
In total across the 5 kits we recorded 20 snares, 5 kick drums and over 20 different cymbals. Why did we record so many drum kits? Because each kit has it’s own unique tone and texture. Recording each kit in different ways allowed us to create a pack that was unique and versatile throughout.
We used expensive snares and cheap snares, snare of all ranges. This gave us a sound that could be made gritty and edgy or clean and expensive. Each snare was selected for it’s unique tone and ability to work well with certain drum kits.
