AudioKit Pro have updated Nerd Synth A2X, a virtual analog synth, still available at the intro price of $4.99.
What’s new in version 1.0.1:
- NEW: Filter Envelope VELOCITY knob. This makes it feel more like a hardware synth. The harder you press keys, the more the filter envelope is applied. (Tip: Filter Modulation needs to be turned up on main page to hear). Also, try turning the “MIDI Input Velocity Curve” in “Settings” to Medium (instead of Hard) for more MIDI Keyboard expressiveness.
- Quick Fixes for some small bugs, more updates coming soon
- AKP are aware of some probs w/ Logic & Seq issues and are working hard on it!
- More FREE Preset BANKS coming SOON!
Nerd Synth A2X was inspired by the classic sounds of the Nord Lead A1. This is a synth, not a rompler, it contains no hardware preset samples.
With Nerd Synth, you’ll have access to all 40+ of the classic lead A1 waveforms, a noise generator, and a range of filters, envelopes, and modulation sources that allow you to create a wide variety of sounds, from bright and cutting leads to deep basses and lush pads. Plus, with a variety of effects like reverb, delay, and distortion, ring modulator, and super fm drop, you can add even more depth and character to your sounds.
