Fracture Sounds have released Blueprint: Gentle Strings, available as a FREE download.
Blueprint: Gentle Strings follows on from the third library in this series, Gentle Winds. This time, Fracture Sounds have recorded a chamber-sized string ensemble in the large main studio at The Nave. The library features mutes on the strings, playing the long con sordino articulation- resulting in a soft cinematic sound that is commonly used for scoring. However, this library is versatile and can also be used in popular music.
This chamber-sized string ensemble was captured in a large studio hall playing with mutes to produce a long con sordino articulation. The library includes three microphone signals and a bespoke atmosphere layer produced from the original samples.
Features include:
- Three Violins, Three Violas, and Three Celli playing in unison.
- Recorded in a large studio live room.
- One articulation: Long Con Sordino.
- Close, Mid, and Far microphone signals.
- Attack and Release controls to shape the sound.
- Adjustable ‘atmosphere’ sound design layer.
- Simple and user-friendly interface.
- Full NKS support – works with Komplete Kontrol hardware.
