Triple Spiral Audio have announced the availability of the Tethys pre-order, available for only €35.75, increasing to €65.00 after the promotion. Tethys will be released on May 7th.
Tethys is the second instalment in a the “Water Gods Trilogy” for Falcon 3, with Thalassa being the first instalment. This trilogy is a serie of true hybrid libraries with an ambient, evocative and spiritual character.
Tethys is created from muli-sampled recordings of a Hand Pan, Tongue Drum, Marimba and textural samples and using all the amazing features Falcon has to offer. This results in a collection of 200 beautiful ambient and evocative presets.
The core of the library comprises nine distinctive categories:
- Basic: presets created from the recordings of the marimba, hand pan and/or tongue drum and without usage of any other samples or other forms of synthesis
- Hybrid: presets created from the marimba, hand pan or tongue drum and mixed with other samples and forms of synthesis.
- Keysplit: presets with the keyboard range split into 2 sections and with a distinctive sound in the lower part and as well in the upper part
- Motion Basic: presets that fit in the Basic category but with a form of motion (arp, sequence or pulse)
- Motion Hybrid: presets that fit in the Hybrid category but with a form of motion (arp, sequence or pulse)
- Multis: the multis are a combination of presets, creating a creative approach to start working on ideas. The multis contain often 2 – 4 presets and some have also the keyboard section split into an lower and upper part.
- Otherwordly: presets with a more experimental and otherwordly character
- Pads: presets with a decent sustain and often a slow attack
- Textures: presets with a textural and evolving character

- Hybrid design, fusing multisamples with a diverse array of synthesis, effects, and modulations available in Falcon 3.
- Multisampled recordings of a Hand Pan, Tongue Drum and Marimbla with multiple round robins (4) and dynamic layers (3)
- Inclusion of a collection of custom created textural soundsources
- A comprehensive library comprising 4677 samples with a total size of 17 GB (uncompressed)
- MIDI Out enabled for all motion presets, allowing arp and sequencing events to trigger other VST instruments.
