Brainworx have added some truly innovative plugin-only features to the bx_2098 EQ updating it for the modern producer. Using patented TMT (Tolerance Modeling Technology, US Patent No. 10,725,727) you can use up to 20 truly varied instances across your mix. In addition to this the bx_2098 features full M/S control and a dedicated THD parameter.
Full Brainworx M/S capabilities mean the bx_2098 EQ is ready for modern sessions. Manipulate the Mid and Side information in your audio completely independently to create width and punch. Control your critical low end mix with the famed Mono Maker and isolate the Mid/Side information to focus on your processed sound.
By utilizing the Tolerance Modeling Technology (TMT, US Patent No. 10,725,727) from their bx_console products, Brainworx have created an EQ that allows you to use 20 truly unique channels across your mix. When applying these different models to stereo versions of the plugin you can induce serious width to your sounds whilst simultaneously imparting the real character of analog hardware.
Some EQs lack character and tone but the bx_2098 EQ employs several features that ensure you get the real analog experience. The THD parameter is perfect for dialing in just the right amount of controlled distortion. This is faithful to the original circuitry that Brainworx modeled and helps you reproduce results until now only possible with real hardware.

bx_enhancer
The Brainworx bx_enhancer plugin includes an input tuner display, saturator, compressor, equalizer (EQ), clipper, Auto Level feature, input and output gain controls, and various meters. It has a pre-configured signal path that simplifies the mixing process, making it an ideal mixing plugin for musicians with limited mixing experience. The controls are simple and allow you to thicken, tighten, and shape the tone of recordings with minimal effort.
The bx_enhancer’s built-in tuner display makes tuning stringed instruments, analog synths, and percussive elements straightforward. By default, 440 Hz is the tuner’s reference frequency, but you can select any value between 300-500 Hz, including popular alternative tunings like 432 Hz or 415 Hz. bx_enhancer’s tuner can help you notice pitch drift throughout the duration of a performance, making it a critical quality assurance tool.
Brainworx’s bx_enhancer is an all-in-one plugin for mixing individual tracks and groups, integrating the three most essential mixing tools into one package. These include a saturator, compressor, and EQ, each typically applied directly to a track to enhance sound quality. There’s also a built-in clipper capable of harmonic distortion. With reverb and delay set up on aux tracks, bx_enhancer provides all the features necessary to mix a song from start to finish while infusing it with analog vibes.
Advanced controls include a Mono Maker, Stereo Width knob, Pan control, and Mix parameter. The Mono Maker sums sounds into mono up to 1,500 Hz, ensuring a tighter, clearer low-end with reduced phase issues. By adjusting the Stereo Width knob, you can narrow or widen elements in your mix to fit appropriately within the stereo field. Dialing back the Mix parameter controls the blend between the dry and wet signal, applying all of the plugin’s effects in parallel.
The bx_enhancer’s Auto Level feature addresses the common issue of loudness bias, which can trick your ears into thinking that louder sounds appear subjectively better. This feature matches the plugin’s output level to its input level. By eliminating loudness bias, bx_enhancer helps you make well-informed mixing decisions and achieve the polished results you’re looking for.
bx_rooMS
From the masters of mid-side processing, bx_rooMS is a breathtaking reverb and the next frontier in simulation of acoustic spaces and mechanical plates.
At its core, it features tons of realism, superb sound quality, and a huge collection of virtual rooms, halls, churches, plates and ambience. But bx_rooMS also empowers you to shape your virtual spaces in unusual and extremely powerful ways, adding mid-side parametric filtering, center-image panning and width control of the reverb’s stereo field.
The key to bx_rooMS’ realism and versatility lies in its embedded TrueSpace technology, which explodes the number of included reverb algorithms to create a virtually infinite number of room sizes and shapes. While currently available reverb technologies emulate a fixed set of space types, such as Room, Hall, Church etc. (often called algorithms) and then offer a limited range of possible sizes for each of them, TrueSpace provides a continuous range of unique space types (or algorithms) while always making available the full range of possible sizes.
With bx_rooMS, you control the reverb’s stereo image. Crank the Stereo Width control for more spacious reverb and bigger-sounding mixes than simple panning can achieve.
With almost 200 outstanding presets to get you started – including patches contributed by expert mix engineers – bx_rooMS offers unique reverbs suited to every music production and genre.
Mid-side processing is unequaled in its ability to transform stereo signals. This reverb is easy enough on CPU usage for you to insert (!) it on many stereo signals and busses, so give your mixes that finishing M/S touch.
bx_delay 2500
The bx_delay 2500 has been developed by Brainworx from the ground up and features a clear, intuitive interface that allows you to get to the delay effect you want quickly. Its glitch-free delays are perfect for automated delay time changes for stunning non-static sounds.
bx_delay 2500 has all you need to create everything from simple delay patches to experimental soundscapes and crazy cool beats. This is your new go-to delay.
By adding an extensive suite of effects to bx_delay 2500 Brainworx have created the perfect environment in which to create wild delay patches. Distortion, chorus and ducking have all been included to sculpt your perfect delay effect.
Using the now famous Brainworx M/S processing you can not only increase the width of any patch but critical low frequencies can also be controlled. The Mono Maker allows you to ensure everything below a specified frequency is perfectly in the center of the mix while your stereo image is left intact.
