Toontrack have released Jazz Organ, an EZkeys ‘expansion’, available for €29.00.
Ever since Jimmy Smith popularized the Hammond* way back in the 1950s, the tone and expression of this one-of-a-kind instrument has permanently etched itself as a constant in the jazz sound. From there on out, the organ as a solo, harmonic and melodic voice has been as given as that of the piano, the saxophone or the guitar. This EZkeys MIDI pack was inspired by all the great players and the wealth of songs that followed in the wake of this watershed shift in the evolution of jazz.
Expect a collection of MIDI riddled with all the traits of jazz organ as we know it: the nuanced, warm and soulful motifs, the colorful comping and the beautifully complex, deep and rhythmic melodic language.
Coupled with the Session Organ EKX for EZkeys 2, this straight up jazz pack will purr, sing, speak, bark, swing and swirl all at once. If you’re passionate about jazz and looking to spice up your jams with a collection of organ MIDI that covers the entire range from traditional to modern, this is it.

- Includes approx. 160 individual files performed by a professional session player
- A total of ten “songs” categorized in Intro, A, B, C and/or Endings sections with several variations in each
- Covering 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8 playing variations in straight and/or swing feel with tempos ranging from 60 BPM to 218 BPM
This MIDI pack was created primarily for use with the Session Organ EKX. If used with any other EZkeys sound library, results may vary. The content of this title is unique and not related to any existing or yet-to-be-released EKX or EZkeys MIDI pack.
