Cloud is a gorgeous reverb that imbues warmth, fusing a long reverb and delay tails that can be modulated and blurred. Cloud was created with ambient users in mind – simply pop “cloud” onto any signal and let the audio disperse into a warm cloud of luminous echoes. Cloud combines plate reverberations with diffused delays to create a long reverb tail that floats around your audio.
Rather than designing your own reverberations with SoundGhost’s Space plugin, Cloud is a plugin for those that want to create ambient washes, whilst offering adjustments to its tone rather than an adjustment to the space your signal is placed in. Using the simple to use interface, adding ambient backdrops is a breeze. Using ‘flutter’, you can add some lo-fi pitch drifting to the reverb tails, inspired by tape. Blur the reflections, overlapping them to create a smoother tone, or spread them for more definitive reflections. Filter them too, so you can craft a darker tone. want to tame the reverb? Just adjust the decay for a shorter response, or push it up all the way for a whirlpool of reflective washes – as it was designed.
