HX-ODDY delivers an incredible range of both new and factory patches, created on the original MkI hardware and then supercharged through a powerful new hybrid architecture featuring 3 hardware-based wavetable and sample oscillators with rich, modeled filters, delivering a versatile and creative re-imagining of a vintage classic. From inspiring bass and leads to expansive pads, and wild effects, HX-ODDY offers authentic hardware sounds within a powerful, modern sound design environment.
Leveraging UVI’s deep history in sampling and physical modeling, HX-ODDY offers an exciting new way to explore a broader range of the authentic hardware sound that you know and love. Take control of a pair of new sample-based wavetable oscillators, offering greater customization and a finer representation of the hardware sound, then combine them with one of our sample-based oscillators, delivering our lovingly-crafted sound design, to feed a pair of physically-modeled filters for a powerful sound alive with raw analog character.
HX-ODDY includes a sizable preset library with over 280 sounds, including Sequenced, Arpeggiated, Bass, Lead, Keys, Pad, Brass, Pluck & Bells, Fx & Rhythmic, Patch Book and more.
Assembled from a library of 13,000+ hardware samples, arranged into 183 layers and 485 wavetables, HX-ODDY sounds alive with authentic analog soul. A rich, multi-layer architecture with modeled filters, powerful modulation system, creative arpeggiator/phraser, and both macro and studio effects, gives you everything you need to edit existing presets to perfectly match your vision, or create your very own sounds from scratch.
