Frontline Producer proudly presents T Style Soul Guitars, your one-way ticket to the sweetest guitar samples. This sample pack is inspired by the early soul styles in America from labels such as Stax and Motown N.B. Before the advent of sophisticated overdubbing, it was common for 3 guitarists to be hired for soul recording sessions to simultaneously cover rhythm and harmony.
Within T Style Soul Guitars, you’ll find four folders, each containing samples with different time signatures and tempos:
- Folder 1: Based on a 6/8 time signature, these samples are influenced by 1960s slow ballads, reminiscent of artists like Etta James and the Chess Records roster.
- Folder 2: Featuring 4/4 ballad loops, this folder draws inspiration from guitar legends Cornell Dupree and Curtis Mayfield.
- Folder 3: Influenced by the darker, more indie sounds of early to mid-70s Stax recordings, this set offers a unique, moody vibe.
- Folder 4: Contains uptempo RnB feels, covering the soulful grooves of the 60s and 70s, exemplified by the legendary Steve Cropper.
T Style Soul Guitars was brought to life using a 50s style Custom Shop Fender Telecaster, connected directly via a DI box to high-quality DA converters for the best possible sound quality.
