Slide Guitar is an extensive loop pack of classic slide licks, played on a characterful resonator guitar. The phrases are perfect for different varieties of blues, bluegrass and country. Whether it’s a song or a film score, these performances transport you directly to the swamps of the delta or the dust of the desert. With Slide Guitar you get the authentic sound of a resonator guitar with all its atmospheric nuances.
Slide Guitar is part of the Instrument Series and consists of 1.6 GB and almost 500 individual slide loops. The recording tempo varies between 92 and 128 BPM, but the performances usually have a relaxed half-time feel. With Elastik’s powerful algorithms, the pace can be easily adapted to any existing project.
The loops are sorted into 10 folders by tempo and key. Each folder was recorded with either a glass or a steel bottleneck. A folder contains up to 18 related performances with a length of up to 28 seconds. Thanks to the dedicated endings, it is easy to create complete performances with a lot of variety. For added flexibility, all phrases are included in three different versions. The pickup version was recorded with the built-in pickups, the mic version with an external microphone. The FX version combines both recordings and adds additional effects to deliver a mix-ready sound for immediate use.
